Why we are starting
Regional books can be found at bookstores in the regions they come from. But they rarely reach people who have moved away from home.
And yet almost everyone is curious about books on their own hometown.
Regional books have no best-before date.
Precisely because we live in a digital age, we want to stand on the side of protecting the culture of paper books that small regional publishers have built.
Sanpo-yoshi三方良し
Sanpo-yoshi — good for all three sides (publishers, readers, and us). A business in which everyone involved benefits equally.
More books sold
Your books reach far more readers, without adding to your inventory or shipping workload.
New perspectives
Discover books through perspectives you might never have found on your own.
A fair return
A fair profit that reflects the value we add.
This is not a business where only the customer comes out ahead. It is one where publishers, readers, and we all benefit equally.
That is why we do not compete on price. We add value to each book and offer it at a price that reflects that value.
What we do
-
Themed sets of a few books (curated recommendations)
We pair a region with a theme, select a few books, and bring them together as a curated set.
-
Single books, too
For readers who want just one book, we also offer titles individually.
-
Shipped directly from the publisher
Every book is shipped to you directly by its publisher.
-
Starting in Nara, then nationwide
We are preparing to launch, starting with a publisher in Nara, then expanding to publishers nationwide.
For publishers
How to take part
- We do not hold your inventory.
